Leaving reviews is an essential way to share your experiences and help others make informed decisions. Whether it's about a property you rented, a real estate agent you dealt with, or your overall tenancy experience, your feedback can contribute to a more transparent and supportive rental community.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to leave a review, ensuring your voice is heard and your insights help others in their rental journey.

What Tenancies Can You Leave a Review On?

To ensure transparency and fairness, reviews can only be left on tenancies that have a status of " finished." This means you can share your experience once your rental agreement has officially ended.

This approach helps create a balanced and trustworthy system for both tenants and property managers. It ensures that reviews are based on the full scope of the tenancy, including how issues were handled, the state of the property at the end, and your overall experience. If your tenancy is still active, you’ll need to wait until it concludes to leave your review.

Understanding Reviews

To provide a detailed and accurate account of your experience, reviews are organised into categories and subcategories. You can choose to leave a review for each subcategory or skip them by simply not interacting with them.

Currently, you can leave reviews for the following:

• Real Estate Rating

  - Friendliness rating: How friendly was the real estate agents you had interactions with.

  - Communication rating: How well did your real estate agents communicate with you.

  - Overall rating: How was your overall experience with the real estate.

• Property Rating

  - Cleanliness rating - How clean was the property.

  - Amenities rating - How were the amenities at the property.

  - Neighbours rating - How were the neighbours at the property.

  - Overall rating - How was your overall experience with the property.

• Tenancy Rating

  - Maintenance rating: How was maintenance handled during your tenancy.

  - Access rating: How was access during the tenancy.

  - Overall rating: How was your overall experience with the tenancy.

Our platform allows you to rate each subcategory on a scale of 0 to 5 stars. These individual ratings are then used to calculate an overall score for each category, giving a comprehensive view of your experience.

How To Leave Reviews

After your tenancy has ended, the review section will become available when viewing your tenancy. You can leave a review in two ways: directly on the main tenancy page or by selecting the " Reviews" tab at the top.

Option 1: Main tenancy page

To leave a review from the main tenancy page, scroll down to the reviews section, located just below the " Main Documents" area. Click the " Leave Reviews" button to open a popup and begin sharing your feedback.

Option 2: Reviews tab

To leave a review from the reviews tab, open your tenancy and click on " Reviews" up the top. Click the " Leave Reviews" button to open a popup and begin sharing your feedback.

Finishing the reviews

Both options lead to the same popup. From there, you'll go through the three main categories and rate each subcategory. To input a rating, simply click on the stars. Note that if a rating is not selected—even for a 5-star review—the review will be ignored. Adding comments is optional, and you can enter up to 1000 characters for each subcategory. Once you've completed a category, click the "Next" button to proceed to the next section.

Leaving a 0 star review

You can leave a zero star review by clicking the cancel icon next the the rating.
